What is Sports????

Sports have a documented history dating back at least 3,000 years. Sports, in the beginning, were often used to train for war or as a hunter, which explains why so many early games involved the throwing of spears, stakes, and rocks, as well as one-on-one sparring with opponents.

The Ancient Greeks introduced formal sports to the world with the first Olympic Games in 776 BC, which included events such as foot and chariot races, wrestling, jumping, and discus and javelin throwing. The following list, by no means exhaustive, examines the origins and evolution of some of today’s most popular sporting pastimes.

Jordan is the greatest scorer in league history by any measure. He set a record with ten scoring titles and a career average of 30.1 points per game, the highest in NBA history. Jordan was also one of the most dominant winners in NBA history.
Tom Brady is the greatest winner in NFL history, as well as the greatest quarterback. His 624 passing touchdowns and 84,520 passing yards are NFL records. He is the only NFL player with seven championships and the most Super Bowl MVPs in NFL history.
Muhammad Ali was one of the greatest boxers of all time, the first to win the world heavyweight championship three times. In addition, he was known for his social message of black pride and black resistance to white dominance, as well as his refusal to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
